You can find Jeff Halliday first on the left in the bottom row, with his pale legs “that shine like the surface of the sun.”
Many describe their summer camp communities as being very tribal, and that certainly would be appropriate when discussing memories of Boy Scouts camp. Jeff Halliday, an associate professor of Communication Studies at Longwood University, joins us this week to share his stories from growing up in the scouting world, and how his summer camp experiences shaped the man (and scout leader) he’s become today.
We also dive into the shared experience of growing up with a father in charge of our camping environment, causing thousands of dollars in automobile damage, and much much more!
