Jeffrey Yoskowitz and Liz Alpern are the creative forces behind The Gefilteria and recently produced The Great Big Jewish Food Fest, an amazing virtual food festival that took place – entirely virtually – in May. In our experience, that kind of creativity often has a camp background behind it, and the two of them proved to have a treasure trove of amazing stories and memories from their times growing up at camp.
We discuss camp foods, the value of befriending the counselors for special privileges, and how an entrepreneurial spirit can really pay off.
Plus we learn that both Jeffrey and Liz were somehow more popular at home than they were at camp? Does such a thing exist?
Don’t waste a minute, take a listen!
